June 2002 The Isles of Shoals Steamship Company’s
Hospitality Cruise Encore Presentation
The cruisers called for an Encore, the Isles of Shoals Steamship Company
responded with two. The June 17th Hospitality Cruise was such a
huge success that it will be followed by two more on June 23rd and July
8th. The Isles of Shoals Steamship Company, “Home of the
Party Ship,” invites all local hospitality workers once again to
come and enjoy an evening on the M/V Thomas Laighton.
The second 2002 Hospitality Party Ship Cruise embarks Sunday,
June 23rd will cruise from 6 to 8pm and is dedicated especially
to Executives, Managers, Supervisors, and Managers-in-training. This
cruise offers those in positions of higher responsibility an
opportunity to relax, let down their hair, and let loose for
one evening of fun.
The next cruise in the Hospitality Series, scheduled for Monday,
July 8th from 9:30 to midnight, will be similar to the first
with entertainment by Straw Dogs and fun prizes and contests
for all. These cruises offer local servers, hosts,
managers, bar backs, dishwashers, front desk associates, and
all others involved in the service of others a chance to experience
the other side, to be waited on for one evening at no cost but
a donation of their choice to be used as a prize on board.
Each of these Hospitality Cruises offers not only the area employees
an opportunity to be served by others but also a chance to become
acquainted with those individuals who work in the same industry
within the same city, the same block and sometimes even the same
building, who otherwise would not have an opportunity to meet
one another.
The Hospitality Cruise Parties on board the M/V Thomas Laighton
have always been a success and have returned with a bang in 2002. A
full cash bar, including drink specials, is available. Reservations
are suggested for these cruises. Your spot, or the spots
of your employees, may be secured by calling 1-800-441-4620.
